Landing page feedback for my new project

Hi friends!

Launching a new side project called Logo Yard (logoyard.co). I don't want to give too many details about the project as I feel the landing page should speak for itself, and if it doesn't, well I suppose I failed.

I want to know:

Is it clear what the product is and how it's different from similar tools (exclusivity)?

How do you feel about the design of the page and the quality of the logos themselves?

Is the price fair for a pre-designed logo? Too low? Too high? Just right?

If you were in an early stage of building a business, would you be open to using a tool like this?

I've set a goal to launch one project a month, so this is February's. I've invested a total of about 12 hours into this one so you aren't going to destroy my spirit if you provide negative feedback. Looking for honesty here incase I go to market with this.

Thanks guys!

Another beautifully designed site Brett ... well done!

I feel the price is too low—it should be in the $20–$100 range as they are quality designs. But if you're targeting non-designer founders, then you're expecting them to do too much of the work. They want to buy something they can use straight away and might not know how to "edit" the logo.

Because non-designers have no imagination, the first thing you need to do is show the logos in different color combos. Maybe have 3 different colors options across all the logos.

Then, I would offer (paid) add-on services of:

    • Adding company name to the logo
    • Changing logo color to the company's brand color

My two cents ... feel free to ignore! :)

I think you're certainly onto something here. Having the color customizable would be a plus. Great alternative to hacking something together from Canva or Iconfinder, etc.

I thought the color of logos are customizable

Logo design varies from USD 2 to 5,000 or even more

It's a debate about whether we need a brand or logo first

The value proposition of your platform is still unclear. It makes total sense if it's a marketplace, but why yours?

Nice idea that you could just keep adding to over time. I like that you’re just browsing the logos straight away so it’s very quick.

Seems obvious to me, the logo would be unique because it’s removed after someone buys it. Like jgillich said though, brand colours are important so I might want to change the colour / request a colour change. For my project for now I was just happy with a noun project icon - I think I paid around $40 but that’s for a year of icons I use across the site. If I didn’t have that and saw a logo that fit the bill I’d pay more than $10, $30/$40 maybe, but only if I could change the colour.

All the best with your ongoing projects, hope you find one that’s a winner! 👍

Nice work, I like it. $10 is a fair price. My only criticism is that all the logos look too similar, all use the same colors. I'd prefer them to be more unique.
