Landing Page Update

Hi IH,

I recently released my new project Test Track (https://test-track.io).

I've done a couple of posts on Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit, HN and I had some views (not a huge amount) but no conversions - except for one signup - with 0 feedback (I have contacted them).

Is there something up with the landing page that might be putting people off, is it clear what the project is?

Any feedback appreciated.

Spacing of the "tour" further down the page is a little off. It goes to the entire edge of the site. It feels a little amateur. Wondering if you should transfer to a site like http://carrd.co for some more professional layouts and designs.

    Test management made easy

I'd consider reworking that headline. What is the BENEFIT people get? Be more specific. By way of example, I get sign-ups every day on my significantly smaller landing page for GapScout. Notice that the headline is a benefit, not a feature or general statement.

Think about a benefit you can extract.

I'm Convinced - Sign me Up

I don't like the wording of, "I'm Convinced". I'm not convinced. It makes me defensive. Just switch it to something more exciting, not sale-sy... "Show me how!" or, "Yes, I want to decrease testing time by 48%!" ... something like that.

Button color for the CTA should be orange. Blue doesn't grab the eye against all the blues.

At the end of the day, less is more. The headlines need to be the most impactful. Most people won't read the small text, and only will do so if the headlines interest them.

Thanks, that's really helpful. TBH I was a little unsure on the I'm Convinced, so I'll rework that.

Wouldn't having a CTA button a completely different colour, such as orange as you suggested, seem odd as the main colour is a variation of Blue. I thought having CTAs as very contrasting colours to the primary branding was usually a bad idea?

Interesting product! I get what your solution does. The only suggestion I would give is to shorten your headings and make them even more concise than right now.

I would also use more space to really hone in on the pain.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Spacing has always been something I struggle with.

It's a competitive niche - project management software. There's probably not a ton of people with this exact problem - 1 signup isn't that surprising. Perhaps you should integrate live UX/QA testing for something more comprehensive and value-added. Otherwise, it's a project management software in a sea of project management softwares.

I'm not entirely sure I'd call it a project management software. I think project management software such as jira or shortcut.com or monday.com, this is specific to just the testing side of development.
