Launched on Reddit and it's becoming a hit!

Hey IH, little background: I posted this story just a week ago where I shared with the community how the launch I had planned for Reddit wasn't working at all. A bit of crying, but not too much ;) The post itself got some traction and I received lots of useful tips and encouragment in the comments.

So, today I posted on Reddit about Linguaso and...

It's already on 350 upvotes! Quite some continuous traffic to my site (15 to 35 concurrent users for around 2 hours; when normally I have zero to 1). And the greatest thing, the super positive reviews I'm getting and actually seeing people excited about Linguaso:

• "This is incredible. So smooth and easy to use."
• "Holy shit this looks amazing, what the hell??"
• "You're insaaaane 🤯🤯"
• "DUDE THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING. everything i could have ever wished for!!"
• "Why are you my favorite person on earth rn?"

That last one made me laugh.

So, why did this time work and it didn't last time?
I have some kind of learnings that I wanted to share back to you:

Be sure that you post your website in the correct sub
Last time I posted on r/languagelearning, that though is a great subreddit and possibly a valid one for the kind of app I'm building, there's a problem: there are people there that are not learning English, French, Italian or Spanish, and they also may feel a bit outcasted. The app is not for them, they downvote or ignore. In this case, the subreddit is more specific, just Spanish learners.

Be more personal
I followed the advice from one of the people who commented in my previous IH post and told me a painful truth: my post felt like an ad. This time I used this title: "I, native Spanish speaker and language lover, created a website where you can watch +1000 YouTube Spanish subtitled videos with a real time dictionary. Hope you like it." that is absolutely closer to the subreddit users. Also didn't create a video showcase but just a simple screencast of the most outstanding features of the app.

Be at the right time
I checked the best times for launching on Reddit on https://dashboard.laterforreddit.com/analysis/ and this time I followed the suggestions. Previous time I had posted 2 hours too early - US users still sleeping. The initial traction in this case is super important.

And that's it.
Just wanted to share my thoughts here and thank you for your encouraging comments in the last post.
