Fellow Indiehackers, I used to run a newsletter for 3 years. Sold ads in that newsletter and loved it. But I found out by talking to hundreds of other newsletter operators that it was not a joy to sell. It was not a joy to find sponsors, contact sponsors, negotiate.
I was weird.
Okay, I'm still weird, but let's get past that for now.
Been working at Paved the last two months and specifically advocating for publishers on the platform.
That two months paid off this week, for everyone.
Paved launches a new ad network that helps any size newsletter monetize easily.
We've got a new onboarding process that is fast. Only need to handle html and css code once.
We've got new advertisers waiting just for you. Many B2B, so many indiehackers are gonna like advertising them.
and we got #2 on Product Hunt this Tuesday.
Happy to answer any questions you might have here.
Happy to make sure you have success on our platform.
Even if you have a substack or revue, the ad network won't work for you right away. You're still eligible to put your profile on our marketplace. We're still working on getting the ad network into many more ESPs.
But now, most major ESPs handle our ad network easily.
This is great! Might try it out for Secrets of Storytelling
Do you get to modify or choose which Ad is placed before sending?
The beauty of the Ad Network is that it works without you having to do any approval process. What you do control is categories and can stop any individual advertiser you wish not to have space in your newsletter.
If you're looking for the most control, then the Marketplace is also an option.
This is great, Andrew. Sounds like the newsletter equivalent of what Anchor.fm offers small podcasters. Faster paths to ad monetization. I'll check it out!
