It has been 3 days since I launched FrontendEase. Here is what I did to launch:
The Results

- 🎉 One client subscribed, second subscription is awaiting finalizing
- Most of the traffic came from IndieHackers 💪 and direct traffic
- I didn't benefit much from the Product Hunt launch, not a significant engagement or traffic came from it. It's either I didn't do it properly and I need to educate myself more about it, or it's not the right environment for FrontendEase
- My feelings are on a roller coster. This is the first time I expose myself in this magnitude online (the irony, I write software for living). But the amount of energy and passion it gave me to pour more effort into creating my own products is immense. I felt a lot of disappointment though from the not-so-great Product Hunt launch. I expected more from that, but you know, you live and learn.
What's next?
- My goal is not to hoard clients, at the end of the day I'm productizing my frontend engineering skills and I'll be directly working with my subscribers. I'll make sure FrontendEase's website is updated with how many spots are available. Stripe is handy in this situation as you can put a limit to how many times a payment link can be used
- My long-term goal is to build a community for frontend engineering around FrontendEase. I will use a mix of building handy frontend tools & educational content on Twitter to spread the word.
