I'm launching Leonardo English (currently just hosted on leonardoenglish.com) on Apple Podcasts / Spotify / etc (via Transistor) by the end of the month.
At the moment the content is only hosted on the website, and I have been building up a small audience and testing out different types of content.
Does anyone have experience or tips on the actual 'launch' of a podcast, starting from the point of view not having any real kind of pre-existing list / audience?
@mijustin suggested back in this post (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/when-to-launch-a-podcast-aad9d7bdcd) that the number of early listens / downloads is an important factor, but I'd be curious to hear from any other indiehackers who have been in the same situation...
You can start blogging and grow an email list. I have more ideas I can't think of them right now. I have a telegram group called Open Podcast. You can ask some more experienced podcasters there.
Thanks - I just joined that.
