Hey Indie Hackers! I'm excited to share my latest project with you: Readsss.

What is Readsss?

Readsss is a daily audio newsletter generator that turns tweets from your favorite X (formerly Twitter) accounts into an audio format. It's designed for busy professionals who want to stay updated with their favorite thought leaders, but can't always find the time to scroll through their feed.
The Problem I'm Solving
As someone who spends a lot of time driving, I found myself struggling to keep up with the valuable insights shared by the people I follow on X. Reading tweets while driving is dangerous and illegal, but I didn't want to miss out on important updates. That's when the idea for Readsss was born.

How Readsss Works

You select your favorite X accounts to follow.
Readsss collects all the tweets from these accounts daily.
Our system converts these tweets into audio format.
You receive a personalized audio newsletter, ready for listening during your commute or any hands-free moment.

Why I Built It

I built Readsss because I needed a safe way to consume content from X while driving. I figured if I had this problem, others might too. It's about making information consumption more accessible and fitting it into our busy lives.

The Journey So Far and next steps

I solo entrepreneured my way so far and will continue to o so as long as I can. I will be providing weekly updates to hopefully show progress and help inspire other builders.

Pricing and Value Proposition

I want to be transparent about Readsss's pricing model. While there is a one time $100 cost associated with using our service ($130 through iOS app store), it's important to understand that this reflects the expenses we incur, particularly from the X API, which is not free to use at scale.

By implementing a paid model, we're able to:

Our goal is to provide a premium service for professionals who seriously value their time and information consumption. If Readsss saves you time and helps you stay informed more efficiently, we believe the value far outweighs the cost.

I'm currently in the early access/beta phase and I'm looking for:
