Let's go IndieHacking from SEA

Bali? Thailand? Sri Lanka? I don't know yet, but one thing is for sure: I'm going to South East Asia next year! The idea is to host another bootcamp.

The first bootcamp in the Himalayas of Nepal was amazing (the story of that is still coming), a lot of mistakes were made, lessons were learned.... Now we are going to do the same same, but different:

  • Target audience: Senior devs, not junior
  • Goal: making your own startup, not only finding jobs
  • Style: Villa with a big pool, no coldness at 3500m altitude
  • Volume: we're aiming for at least 10 devs, not just 5
  • Marketing: instead of only inviting devs, marketing and sales people are also welcome! I hope to bring some synergy between the two so we can really bring something to market (a thing most developers have trouble with, like me)

Do you know anyone, potentially interested in such an experience? OR MAYBE IT'S YOU? Let's go then! 🤩

SEA indiehacker here, Jakarta. Love the villa + pool angle vs Himalayas at 3500m, haha. Are you still running bootcamps? Most SEA posts I see are Bali-centric, curious if you considered Jakarta/KL for senior dev + marketing synergy you mentioned.

PS: I hope this "self-promotion" gets accepted here, I really hope to find other aspiring indie hackers like me. Making money from you guys is not my aim, I have my own SaaS products I'm developing!

More info about what we did in september-october this year: https://github.com/Code-From-Anywhere/bootcamp/blob/master/the-ultimate-programmer-bootcamp.md

In the end we were with a group of 6 and it was an amazing experience. Sorry not to share anything of the actual bootcamp, maybe I'll do it the coming weeks, the pictures just got uploaded to drive!

Please get in touch if you like it :D
