Looking for a lead dev for my startup backed by Earnest

I'm currently just starting the process to hire a lead PHP developer for my startup Conversion Crimes.

However, I was thinking... what if there was an IndieHacker looking for a good project to call their own? I'm open to some creative arrangements.

I've already proven the concept, got #1 on Product Hunt, have customers, and am now backed by Earnest Capital.

As a founder, I bring to the table: marketing, biz dev, strategy, branding, UX design, and product mgmt.

We've already got a solid team and are just missing a tech lead!

As the lead developer at Conversion Crimes, you will play a key role in reshaping the way in which businesses and marketers think about usability testing.

We’re challenging our incumbent competitors that focus on the enterprise and creating a new, better way of doing things for small businesses.

Opportunity:

✅ A growing market. User experience and conversion rate optimization are growing markets. Google is updating its algorithm to include signals for page experience. The market leader is at 100M in revenue and is growing 40% YoY.

✅ The consumerization of enterprise software. The ability to offer an affordable and easy to use solution opens a new market of customers (SMBs). There is strong momentum proven by Shopify’s success and the long term trend of e-commerce growth.

✅ Radical Differentiation. UserTesting was first to market and all the competitors just copied their workflow. We reimagined it from the ground up and we’ll win on our simplicity, unique models, and efficiency.

Here's the situation.

Our developer Henry who has been working with me for 7 years is mostly a front-end developer. We’re at a crossroads with our product where we need someone strong and experienced in back-end dev to take over and later help us build out a dev team as our needs grow.

You’ll work with Henry to learn the ropes and take charge of our product. Where we take development from here – is up to what we come up with together.

I'm looking for someone to come in, look at what we've done, take the lead, help us build a bridge to the next stage of our startup, and then take charge to build the next version of Conversion Crimes.

Just thought I'd throw it out there!
