Looking for a light-weight accounting tool. Any tips?
Hey everyone,
I'm searching for a tool that helps create balance sheets, but made for indie-hackers, not larger companies.
Right now I'm doing downloading my bank transactions, compiling them in spreadsheets, and doing some simple calculations there. However that still takes a lot of time, and is prone to error.
Since the full income is from one source: Apple, and my expenses only include online-subscriptions, I was hoping to find something super simple.
Is there something like Quickbooks but designed for indie-hackers?

I think Wave would be perfect for you. It's free and very easy to use. I use it for all my small projects.
Had a closer look at Wave, but it still looks pretty heavy (or at least the onboarding feels so). Have you been 100% satisfied with it, or what still feels difficult to do?
Yea, it has a lot of features, like accepting payments and stuff but you can skip all those things and just focus on the Accounting section, connect your bank account and then you can work on all the transactions. I'm satisfied with it, but I believe paid solutions have a bit more features for accounting.
