This has probably been asked multiple times here but I've done some research and decided to go with a Bubble + Webflow stack. I've read that Webflow is great to make the landing page look amazing and the workflows can be done on Bubble.
Right now, I want to build a freelance marketplace that has a good landing page, social logins, private listings and private messaging. Is Bubble + Webflow the optimal solution to build this? I did not want to go with the Webflow-Airtable-Memberstack-Zapier route as there are too many dependancies and would be hard to track (and pay) for them individually.
Would love to hear if anyone here has built and scaled a similar marketplace with Bubble and Webflow. :)
I heard good things about sharetribe, why aren't you going that route?
Well I used Sharetribe and it's all good but they're charging me $99 for a landing page. Without this, all my marketplace listings will be public which I don't want.
Ok I see, then makes sense using something else if they're forcing you to pay
Yes, at the moment I do not have the funds for $99 per month for a MVP, that's why I opted out from Sharetribe although they have a good platform.
Yep, Bubble and Webflow would be your go-to here. Webflow for the landing page, bubble for everything else.
Since a marketplace is a complex web app, I'd highly recommend sticking with Bubble, instead of trying to hack together different no-code tools.
Thanks, I too prefer to stick with Bubble despite the learning curve :)
