Looking for honest feedback on my startup idea πŸ’‘

Hello everyone πŸ‘‹

Today, I launched the waitlist for my new startup, TagU.

It aims to help teams communicate/collaborate faster and more efficiently. Instead of sending screenshots and lengthy screen recordings, TagU allows users to leave comments directly on the web.

As a developer myself, communicating with your designer, manager, etc. can be very time consuming and interferes with your workflow/focus. With TagU, I want teams to use their time doing what ACTUALLY MATTERS. Building their product.

If this is a product you are interested in, join the waitlist below πŸ‘‡

I'm looking for honest feedback on your thoughts and suggestions for the future of TagU.

    It might work.

    Feedback:

    • So when I get tagged, I'll probably receive an email notification. So we're back to where we started
    • What if website gets updated?
    • What about dynamic websites?
    • What if the bug is only in the marketing person's account? Would you have to log in as them to see the comment?
    • Large websites probably already have a designer. This designer likely has a Figma of all the screens in the app, this Figma will also have context already.

    Good luck

      Here is my solution.

Question 1. When you get tagged, you will see a notification at the bottom of your browser. When you click it, you can see your feed of notifications.

Questions 2-4: If the website is changed or locked behind authentication, then the user will see an image of what it used to look like when the message was written. For example, if it was taken and something is changed, the user sees a screenshot of what it USEd to look like.

Question 5: For large companies with Figma files of all their screens, this probably wouldn't help them as much. However, they could use it for other communication on different websites (ex. their competitors). Are target audience would be medium sized teams though.

        Hmm, clever solutions.

Thank you! Let me know if you have any other concerns, because your feedback means a lot. Especially in the planning stage, where I am planning out the use cases and finding potential flaws. That's pretty much the reason I opened up a waitlist πŸ˜
