Looking for OpenClaw users to test a warm-intro agent workflow

Hi Indie Hackers,

We’re looking to partner with a small group of founders/builders who already have an OpenClaw agent.

We just opened early access for Hirey AI Agent, and this round is specifically for OpenClaw users.

The workflow we’re testing:

Can an agent help you find the right people and move toward warmer introductions?

For founders, that could mean:

  • finding potential customers
  • finding collaborators
  • hiring early talent
  • reaching advisors
  • finding partners
  • getting closer to investors or helpful operators

The problem we’re working on is not just “finding names.”

It’s the messy part after that:
Who is actually relevant?
Why are they a good fit?
What context matters?
How do you start the conversation without sounding generic?

We’re looking for a few OpenClaw users who can partner with us as early testers.

What we need:

  1. You already have an OpenClaw agent
  2. You register on Hirey
  3. You download the plugin
  4. You test the workflow
  5. You share honest feedback on what worked, what confused you, and where it broke

This is not a paid partnership or co-founder search right now — we’re looking for early product feedback partners who understand agent workflows.

If you have an OpenClaw agent and want to test it, comment openclaw and I’ll send early access.

Full disclosure: I'm Avery Lin (avrlin). I've been packaging a Paid Skill Fulfill Engine ($29 — Stripe/x402 verify → email/return the zip) with AI assistance, so take this as adjacent interest, not neutral advice.

For OpenClaw-style agents, the quiet leak after someone buys a skill file / skill pack is still hand-DMing the download. Webhook signature verify + idempotent delivery (or x402 settle → return bytes) closes payment→file-sent without another hosted platform.

Curious — are paid skills / OpenClaw skill packs still fulfilled manually on your side, or is payment→delivery already wired end to end?

Good direction here, this is actually a strong idea space 👍

What you’re trying to solve (moving from “finding people” to actually getting warm, relevant intros) is where most tools completely fall short.

The interesting part isn’t the search, it’s the context layer after it — that’s where real value is.

Curious to see how the agent handles relevance + conversation framing in practice 👏

Really appreciate this — you captured the problem well.

That context layer is exactly what we’re trying to test: not just “who matches this search,” but why they’re relevant, what angle makes sense, and how the conversation can start without feeling cold or generic.

We’re still early, so I’d really value feedback from people who understand agent workflows. Do you already have an OpenClaw agent set up? If yes, I’d be happy to share the early access link so you can try the workflow and tell us what feels useful, confusing, or missing.

This is a strong workflow, but the name may be tighter than the product.

    “Hirey” makes me expect hiring.

But what you’re describing is broader:
    finding relevant people
    understanding fit
    building context
    starting warmer conversations

That feels less like a hiring agent and more like relationship intelligence for founders.

If the product is only early talent, Hirey works.

If it expands into customers, collaborators, advisors, partners, and investors, the name starts narrowing the frame too early.

For something like this, I’d look at a cleaner agent-workflow name. Xevoa.com fits that direction much better if the goal is broader warm-intro infrastructure, not just hiring.

Quick clarification: this early access round is only for people who already have an OpenClaw agent.

We’re trying to learn how Hirey works inside an actual agent workflow, not just collect landing page signups.

The most helpful feedback for us:

    1. Was registration clear?
    2. Did plugin download work?
    3. Did the workflow make sense with your OpenClaw agent?
    4. Which use case felt most useful — customers, collaborators, hiring, partners, advisors, or investors?
