Hey all - I've been co-founding and leading HeySummit (online virtual summit platform - SaaS). As an experiment we launched on AppSumo in April and have passed $100k net in LTD sales, and $6k in MRR. While we're pleased with the performance, we now have some decisions to make.
I'm looking to connect with other founders or leaders of SaaS Businesses who have grown to over $30k in MRR (preferably without much investment) and who might be interested in setting up a mastermind call.
I've made a doc outlining this request which you can find here - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hIfIfK1B5wkwz1cedXzTjW3zE5tEuw3WnEyYkFZg7N8/edit?usp=sharing
My Request: Are you or Do you know any SaaS founders/leaders who would fall into this category? If so, I'd love to get in touch :)

Wow! That's Great!
AppSumo is that effective?
How did you deal with the launch?
Yep it was pretty effective for us - a great way to validate the need of the product and get a bit of cash in to grow the team.
How did appsumo help you , can you elaborate?
Replied to your other thread - will repost here :) Appsumo is a lifetime deal site (LTD) where if you're accepted, you can offer a lifetime deal to your SaaS business through their site. They have thousands of passionate users, and because of their experience in knowing what their community wants, you have the potential of earning $100k+ in net sales. It can be a double-edge sword because a) you might not do that well with the community, b) you have a money bump but then have to support folks for lifetime and it isn't recurring revenue, and c) the community is very passionate so you'll know quickly whether or not they approve of what you're doing.
On the other hand, it is a fantastic way to get validation of your product and the need WITH money attached. If you treat it as an alternative to an investment round that brings with it a few thousand passionate users, then it's totally worth it. If you think it's going to be your business's salvation then it's not the right move.
