Currently looking to build a Figma (www.figma.com) plugin I am a designer and i have extremely limited coding skills. Skill set needed are pretty much Javascript and Typescript and HTML CSS
I've recently been building a Figma plugin and it seems easy enough so far. The grid system looks great.
What's your background @cosimomedici (other than design obvs) will you be marketing this, PR, direct sales etc?
Just purely design currently. I was looking to build this myself as it was a feature i felt would have been very nice/useful, but time and technical competency with regards to code was a challenge, i figured maybe i could share it as an idea and maybe someone would find it interesting enough to build. I would not be marketing this, as currently there is no way to monetize plugins on Figma yet. Product Hunt?! maybe. I figured maybe someone would find it interesting enough to take it on as a side project
I'm interested to work on this, and I'd be happy to share any of the code I write too. Partially because the basic grid systems on these apps is super annoying! But I'm pretty all out on a couple of other projects right now.
Yeah sure, Its a plugin that supposed to help create better grids on any size canvas, or o basically put it a grid plugin that work the way the adobe Indesign grids, margins and guides system work this video pretty much explains what i am looking to achieve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIj_2GpjXuE @BjoernKW
Just a small suggestion, if you want to reply to someone click on the 'REPLY' button and type your comment there. This way it gets notified to that person, what you did was commented on your own post that doesn't send notifications to the person you wanted to reply.
Oh noted, and thanks for this
Can you elaborate? What's this plugin supposed to do? What problem are you trying to solve?
