personally I think it's a bit overpriced, surely people will pay it but I believe making more price plans would
bring more overall value.

Yeah, the price is a work-in-progress and I'll be updating it with an upcoming marketing push around a new feature I'll launch. 🤓
also I'd feel more comfortable if there was an option to upload already encrypted files such that you cannot peek at the data and send the keys myself to trusted people. you could even charge extra for storing said keys for people who miss that point or just don't care.
That file upload case is interesting! I did plan on allowing file uploads in the future. Encouraging the scenario you described is cool albeit potentially extra work if Passbox also requires an access key. Something for me to think about.
Regarding keys: I don't think I want to be able to access a user's decrypted data without them so charging to store the keys isn't super attractive to me. I'd need to look into some secure of doing so that excludes my own access if possible. Right now if you use Passbox and lose your access key I can't help to retrieve the data and that's by design. Interesting to think the convenience of storing it from a user experience standpoint though if done well/securely. I've thought about going as far as emailing users their access key when they set it so it's less easy to lose completely. To be determined...

Your concern sets me up nicely for what I see as Passbox's second act: becoming a password manager. That way you're incentivized to keep the most relevant logins up-to-date and you extract value from using it pretty regularly vs a set-and-forget approach.
What do you think about this idea?
