Low Returning Visitors - General Feedback

Hi All,

Brand new here so first of all hello! Was hoping for some feedback on my site: https://themeparkportal.com.

Site launched in December 2020 and has seen consistent growth in terms of visitor numbers. We're at 15.8k for April so far, building on 8.1k in March. I'm completely self-taught in terms of Wordpress, social media, SEO etc so rather proud of this modest success!

The thing that's concerning me is that I have low returning visitor numbers (about 10-15% per month). I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the site in the following areas:

• It's a news site - does it feel authoritative whilst also welcoming and fun?
• I've had feedback stating that the site feels a little flat and cold, so have made some changes to try and remedy this. Do you guys agree/disagree that this is the case?
