MacBooks are NOT Professional

Macbooks are not professional,
There, I said it.
Let the flamewar begin!

After more than a decade on Linux, I got a Macbook.
I like Linux
However, I have a team and clients that need my attention
So when I update Linux, sometimes things go bad
Like all the time
And I can’t just take a few days off to fix
yet another driver or some other silly issue

I guess I am now pissing off both Linux and Mac users
Which is a holy sin in many circles

Anyways
I bought a new Macbook M2 processor.
Unix-like system, but no updating hell.
Beautiful case and the touchpad is perfect
The keyboard was not so much,
the UI was not my cup of tea.
now these are not my concern

My concern is I poured tea in my MacBook
and the keyboard stopped working
The repair shops tell me
it will take 3 weeks to repair
And it would cost around 50% of the computers’ original price
Or they just tell me to buy a new laptop

Now, that’s not professional
to have a so expensive laptop that is practically unrepairable
and it takes 3 weeks
No IT professional would be able to not have a laptop for 3 weeks

And that’s it,
I am done with Macbooks
Back to the old Thinkpad
