Hello iOS & android Devs,📱
I'm an iOS developer with experience since iOS 3. While I mastered the technical skills to ace interviews, the pay offers just weren't reflecting my expertise.
Through trial and error, I achieved a 7x income boost in just one year. To my surprise, it wasn't purely technical skills that unlocked this growth.
I discovered a set of non-technical practices that significantly impacted my career progression. Talking to fellow mobile app devs revealed they faced similar struggles despite their talent.
This sparked the idea for MADMBA.com (Mobile App Dev MBA), a non-technical course designed specifically for mobile app developers looking to take their careers to the next level.
Initially, I saw promising results with a few iOS developer signups at a $5 price point. Excited, I experimented with pricing adjustments and added details like subscriber count to the landing page.
Unfortunately, increasing the price to $19 and making further landing page changes resulted in a drop in signups. I tried various strategies to attract more users, but nothing seemed to work.
So overall MADMBA.com generated $100 but I'm not satisfy with the results.
Calling all mobile app devs: Have you encountered similar roadblocks in your career advancement? If so, I'd love to hear your experiences!
I think the landing page needs work. I think your copy is on the right track but needs to be more persuasive. The details are very hard to read, and the tweets you have shown, one of them is just a question about the course, few are compliments on the name, it doesn't make me want to buy the course. Tell me what I'm missing out on, how I might be on the wrong path, how there's a secret most devs are unaware of, etc. It's great that you've made $100 in sales already btw, so congratulations on that!
If you improve your landing page, I'm sure you'll see better results. How are you currently bringing attention to your course? You mentioned several strategies you've tried, can you expand on what you've tried already?
thank you for feedback! I agree, the landing page is not good, I will make those changes.
I have tried engaging many Discord, Twitter & FB groups and communities but got only few singups.
