What does everyone think? Mailchimp has been an iconic "Indie" style company for over 20 years.
IMO Mailchimp has been past their "indie" style for years now. I'm surprised though on the acquisition. It seems like their play is going to be to create a suite of products for small businesses to utilize... maybe even to market it as a package of finance tracking, emailing, tax solutions, etc. as an all in one bundle.
