Quick update on Skyneu — the AI travel assistant I’ve been building to make flight planning feel calm and clear, not like solving a puzzle with 15 tabs open.
Since the last post, a lot has happened!
🧠 Listening to Real Travelers
I’ve been talking to people, reading stories, and noticing a big theme:
Nobody wants more flight options — they want smarter ones.
Now Skyneu gives helpful insights like:
“This layover is short and risky — maybe avoid it.”
“You’ll need a transit visa here unless your passport allows visa-free entry.”
“This airport often delays baggage, plan extra time.”
It’s like having a travel-savvy friend who tells you what really matters.
💬 Better AI Assistant
The chat assistant is getting better at real questions like:
“What’s the best airport to connect through?”
“Is this flight worth the price?”
“Will I need a visa?”
And it answers clearly and quickly, no travel jargon or sales pitch.
🛠 MVP Progress
Still deep in building mode. Some new things added:
Dark mode 🌙
Copy-to-search: Pick a flight and paste it into any booking site
Real-time alerts on delays, weather, and changes
✈️ Coming Soon:
A browser tool that gives smart tips while you search on sites like Google Flights
User preferences so Skyneu learns what you like

Totally fair point — and I’m really glad you brought this up.
You're right to question the numbers, especially when they don’t seem to match what’s visible on the surface like social media.
To be 100% transparent:
The “50,000+ users” refers to the total number of people who’ve interacted with any part of the project — including visa checks, AI queries, waitlist signups, and users testing early features. It’s not a claim about social media followers or active app installs.
The “2,500+ travelers” mentioned in the hero section is the actual number of users currently on our waitlist or actively testing the MVP.
And yes — we really do have zero social media following right now. We’ve been focused on building the product first, not growing our socials.
Still, I get how this can feel misleading. That's on me — and I’ll update the site to make those numbers clearer and avoid confusion.
