Marketing is...Challenging

I haver built a couple of apps now but my first, my baby, is Frennz. Frennz qualifies as "super niche" meaning it is not for every user (as opposed to ZnapZor, another app of mine which is an all ages game). Frennz is basically for X users only right now (with a side of YouTube). I am having a REALLY hard time getting users, y'all. I know you have your own problems with your own apps, but listen to MINE for a minute (me me me lol).

However Frennz has this one THING that makes it a killer app for people on X or not: users can collect emails without having to make landing sites. They just put a link on their socials and it collects and validates emails for them. BUt that isn't its primary use, just a cool side effect.

All of that sounds cool but how in the world do I MARKET this. I have not even talked about its primary function which is extremely-and I mean EXTREMELY- an X function. This tool is cool and I use it myself (I made it for me and my content creating buddies). But it is weirdly hard to explain to others. You tell ME what you think I should say after hearing the problem it solves.

Frennz solves the problem of distributing your ebook or media on X without having to go in a bunch of people's DM's to drop a link, a practice which gets user accounts locked all the time. Creators make a Frennz campaign for a specific X post and whatever type of engagement they want for it (RT's, likes , replies etc). It then tracks whether a user actually Retweeted and liked that post. After verifying they did, it dispenses the guide to them. AND collects their email too if you want. It is great for those X users who say "RT and like my post and I will DM you my guide" or whatever. It automates that whole process. Told you it was niche.

So Frennz solves a major pain point but getting people to understand the process (and it is EASY to use mind you) is a problem in itself. It is for a very specific group of people but has so many use cases. Say you are a bigger business like a fast food restaurant. You could use it to boost engagement on socials by dispensing coupons after an account's engagement is verified. But it is a bi-ch to explain. AND YouTubers can use it to get verified views. It literally makes sure someone watched the video before dispensing a guide (or media or dropbox link, whatever) from that Vtuber.

So you tell me, what should I do? What is my best bet for getting some traction here. I know it does something cool. I use it myself in my "day job" as a content creator. But I am having so much trouble getting some movement with it. X API is like 200 bucks a month so every month of non-use is a money sink. What would you do? Tell me oh gods of marketing and indie hacking, what is the solution. Cuz I am discouraged but persistent.
