Hi Guys,
I am really new to UX and have recently joined a start up to conduct their UX research. I am now looking for anyone who might be open to have a chat about their experience in the UX field and has some guidance on ways to improve and develop my skillset within UX. I can honestly say that I really enjoying the job and the field but I am also very aware of my current lack of mentorship which makes it difficult to pick up on areas to improve, which I am really keen to do.
Maybe this is of interest - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/i-started-a-new-livestream-show-where-i-help-coach-fellow-indie-hackers-with-their-product-ux-here-is-the-first-episode-0cb9ccae0b
That is brilliant thank you so very much! Funnily this video covers exactly one of the areas that my research is currently focussing on!
Oh, great, glad it was of some interest!
Hey UXResearchisfun!
Congrats on joining the startup, hope you've been learning a lot. :)
I remember those days and know what you're going through, know its all normal.
Its growth!
but stay open and work hard. Believe, you'll get there.
If you're still looking for someone to help and be able to chat with, I run a focused mentorships sessions to talk all things ux and career, for a few budding designers would be happy to make myself available if you ever want to chat.
I think its very brave of you to be open and looking for help, so am more than happy to give you a short free 1-on-1 session for you, or someone who could use the help.
All the best,
Fede

Thank you very much for sharing all these resources with me, they have been really useful and will definitely be used as resources alongside my work from now on! I have also signed up Doesign now and look forward to exploring that later
I'm glad I could help. I'll let you know when Doesign launches!
