Hi Indie Hackers,
Building a SaaS platform is not only about adding login, dashboard, pricing page, and Stripe.
Those parts matter, but they are not the full product.
A strong SaaS platform needs a clear problem, focused MVP scope, simple user experience, scalable architecture, secure data handling, cloud-ready deployment, and a plan for what happens after launch.
At MoonSofts, we are building a remote-first software consulting company that helps founders, startups, and businesses turn SaaS ideas into real digital products.
Our approach usually starts with one question:
What problem should this SaaS product solve clearly enough that users will keep coming back?
From there, we help define:
We try not to overbuild too early.
A SaaS MVP should be lean enough to launch and test quickly, but strong enough to support future growth if users respond well.
For us, the goal is not to build the most complex version first.
The goal is to build the right first version.
MoonSofts helps with:
One thing we have learned is that SaaS products usually become clearer after real users start using them.
That is why we think launch is not the finish line. It is the beginning of product learning.
Curious to hear from other founders:
What was the hardest part of building your SaaS product?
Was it scope, tech stack, onboarding, payments, user retention, or post-launch iteration?
