Over the fold area seems clear in regards what you do and offer.

I like the main pitch about "You focus on the business and goals. We handle privacy and compliance." and I really like that there is a Live Demo button. Literally anything you offer, an option to see the product is a key and a live demo is the best way to do that.

Speaking of pitch, not sure what I think about the "Widen your view, widen your lead." part. It reads awkward to me.

And one more thing about the main pitch: I don't really know how "fast and reliable" should be your main selling points. As a person who runs many websites and spends a lot of time reading traffic analysis data, and as someone who just moved away from Google Analytics to another platform, "fast and reliable" were not really the key features I was looking for. Those two things should be given and not even worth discussing.

I clicked the Live Demo now.

I'm not a fan how in the Live Demo, you get a massive "free trial" nag popup, though. I'm on your website, looking at your live demo. I know how to start a free trial if I want at this point, there is no need to annoy me with popups like this.

In the live demo, it's awkward when I scroll down the main view that when I'm over the map view, the scrolling with mouse wheel stops working and now I'm zooming the map. That's not what I wanted. I wanted it to keep scrolling the page.

    Back to the landing page.

In the feature highlights area, you are dropping the ball visually a bit. These boxes look dull. Some icons here would make me want to reads these texts more.

In your why section, you claim that "Between 29% to 50% of Internet visitors are invisible to a traditional web analytics solution". This sounds unbelievable to me. If this is true, you should prove this to me. If this is true, I had no idea. If your website could prove this to me, that alone would be a big selling point to you.

It's a bit paradoxical to pitch about "being green" next to a stock vector image of a rocket ship. Rocket ships are cool and fast, but not green.

The text in the last CTA button is awkward, "Click here! For privacy web analytics" doesn't really mean anything.

Like I said, I have recently migrated away from Google Analytics and as such, I find your product more interesting than a random visitor.

That's why I also had a look at your Pricing page.

Your pricing seems reasonable, and I really like the "pay annually and get two months free" offer. What I don't like are the very artificially sounding limitation that in the first two paid tiers I could only have 2 or 10 websites.

Your biggest competitor is probably Plausible, which is what I use right now.

Their cheapest paid tier allows one to track 50 websites. You are not offering 50 websites even with your most expensive paid tier.

As someone who owns and operates many websites, this is already making it impossible to even consider to buy your service. Besides, as an engineer, this limitation seems entirely artificial. Why would it matter to you whether I use your service to track 1 or 100 websites? Isn't it the amount of traffic that you need to track the main resource using parameter?

Another thing I don't really love is the very short time data retention. Even in the middle paid tier, you keep my data only for 24 months? That doesn't seem like a good deal to me. Again, Plausible offers forever data retention even with their cheapest paid tier.

If I'm being perfectly honest here, your product seems pretty good and even interesting, but I don't see any reasons here why I would want to switch over from Plausible. On the contrary, your pricing terms would make it impossible for me to switch over.

Thank you so much for this really in-depth feedback. I really appreciate it.

      1. Fast and Reliable
Interesting observation. I wanted to capture the fact it is Fast (small script with fast distribution, load time) and Reliable (avoiding Adblockers) and still avoid being wordy. Sounds like that did not work as I expected.

      2. Pricing
Different models. Our event limits are PER site, unlike in the case of other vendors, per subscription. But I realize this is not clear on the Pricing page.

Besides, as an engineer, this limitation seems entirely artificial.

Hopefully now, it feels less artificial. More sites = more events = more infrastructure/maintenance cost.

2.1 I just realized our pricing page lacks an essential message, every site is multi-origin. I know this would not address your needs, but this conversation made me realize this omission.

      1. On a surface, I can see how you see us competing with Plausible and similar tools, but we are different and focusing on different customers. Our goals are to address business customers and their compliance needs. Not only do we tick all compliance boxes such as (policies – internal/external, DPO, adequate country, audits, etc), we also support processing Personal Data. Something that is explicitly prohibited by most other vendors. But this means our message on the landing is not coming across and that's something to address, and I truly appreciate your feedback.

Again, so much information, this was wonderful.

      Thank you 🙇

Hopefully now, it feels less artificial. More sites = more events = more infrastructure/maintenance cost.

No, that still makes no sense. If you want to limit the number of events, then limit the number of events. Not websites. I happen to manage many websites, all of which are rather low traffic.

It makes no sense that I should need to pay an analytics services provider more merely because I have more websites, but they are all low traffic.

Which is why I like Plausible's pricing: Number of websites doesn't matter, only the amount of events (traffic).

        1. 1

Makes sense, what you are saying. I appreciate this model does not work in your case if you manage many websites, all of which are rather low traffic.

Not trying to convince you to our model.

Our reasoning is to support sites isolated (domains, sharing, user access) from each other. Following this reasoning, one site should not eat into the quota of the other. This makes more sense in the case of teams and agencies serving multiple clients.

          1. 1

But if anything, this proves that our plans might not be flexible for a wider spectrum of clients with needs like you described. Something to think about definitely 🤔
