Most Shopify stores don’t have a traffic problem — they have a conversion problem.

After working on multiple eCommerce stores, here are a few quick wins that consistently improve product page performance:

  1. Fix your above-the-fold section
    Users decide in seconds.

Make sure they instantly see:

What the product is
Why it’s different
A clear CTA

If they have to scroll to understand → you’re losing them.

  1. Make the CTA impossible to miss (especially on mobile)
A lot of stores bury the “Add to Cart” button.

Quick wins:

Sticky add-to-cart on mobile
Strong contrast color
Clear spacing

  1. Add trust near the buying decision
Don’t make users “search” for reassurance.

Place near CTA:

Reviews / ratings
Guarantees
Shipping info

Trust = conversions.

  1. Improve product image flow
    Most users scroll images first.

Make sure:

First image is clean and clear
Show product in use
Include lifestyle + close-up

  1. Reduce decision friction
Too many options = no decision.

Simplify:

Variant selection
Product info
Layout

  1. Mobile > Desktop
80%+ of traffic is mobile for most stores.

Check:

Button sizes
Spacing
Scroll length

Small friction = big drop.
