Mozilla Ended Their VR Browser So Open Source Devs Relaunched It
Doesn't anyone here remember Firefox Reality? It was meant to be a browser focused on VR/AR, but after four years the project was killed.
Luckily open source developers Igalia decided to pick it up.

In my opinion, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the future of the browsing space. And who knows, maybe it'l spur others to pursue this space.
I'm not particularly optimistic about their future success. The owner of any operating system is going to heavily promote their own bundled browser, such makes succeeding as a third party browser very difficult.
