MV3 Extension Kickstart Kit is a privacy-first Chrome extension starter kit for Manifest V3. I built it because most extension templates are either outdated, overly complex, or permission-heavy, and I wanted a clean baseline that helps indie developers ship faster. If you build Chrome extensions, you know the early setup phase is repetitive: project structure, boilerplate, permissions, UI scaffolding, and getting to a “ready to build features” state.

This kit is designed around a local-first mindset and minimal permissions, which matters if you are building productivity tools, utilities, or any extension where user trust is part of the product.
