I made PodBuddy, an iOS app that allows podcasters to create animated videos from their audio clips, to share on social media.
I've always wanted to make an editor app (of any kind), and I saw an opportunity to make one where podcasters could add waveform animations, progress parts, etc..
I've so far received good feedback from podcasters, and some are using it constantly to create posts and stories for their podcast.
But when I compare it to larger competitors (Wavve or Headliner), the revenue PodBuddy is making at the moment is negligible. I wonder how they nailed the marketing game.
So far it has been tough even getting podcasters to download it (I'm trying Apple Search Ads and Reddit ads), let alone convert them to paying customers.
I know I have a more intuitive product, and I know it's a winner. I just don't know how to market it (yet).
I am guessing that most podcasters use computers to do their recording and editing.
Your offering is creation of videos from podcasts through an app. So your target users are those who (1) want to convert their podcasts into videos to post on Youtube, TikTok, and IG (2) but have not done so and (3) want to do so with an app and not on a computer, right?
It seems that there are a lot of competitors in this field.

I am definitely not sure how to find and convert your target users.
