My 1st Year of Entrepreneurship

(and the Roller Coaster of Adventures)

A year has whisked by since I swapped my routine for an entrepreneur's cap. With "Rich Dad Poor Dad" opening my eyes, I plunged into a world of books, videos, and a thirst for creating something of my own. Here's the lowdown of that thrilling ride:

I kicked off with a WordPress site, a playground for SEO and affiliate marketing experiments. After the basics were learned I bought my first own website „howtokeepfoodwarm" for an unbelievable $600 (with mentoring)
I made my first dollar online ($2.30) with an Amazon affiliate link on the website– I was the happiest person alive for the moment and a giant leap for my entrepreneurial spirit. It was the nod I needed.

Then I flirted with the idea of an SEO and Marketing agency, https://digitforge.shop , an endeavor that taught me lessons money can't buy.
I dove into cold emailing, launching a campaign with the following stats: 663 emails with a reply rate of 2.1%. But basically, I only got one real reply; the rest were auto-responses.

The SEO agency, while a good idea on paper, turned out to be a tough nut to crack. Zero customers and a diminishing motivation later, I found myself questioning the business model I once thought was good.
What's the takeaway? Entrepreneurship is a non-linear journey. One day you're navigating through the thicket of doubts, and the next, you find a clearing.
I'm not yet at the point of counting my earnings in the tens of thousands, but that's not what this journey is all about. It's about the hustle, the grind, and the sweet spot of learning on the go.

What's next, you ask?

I thought about giving up the SEO agency because the business model doesn't really separate working time from money.

I started a bit of coding with the help of ChatGPT.
