My Journey to staying unemployed

Over the last 2 days, I have made the following progress on my journey as a Solopreneur, desperately working to continue working on my dream project and not have to go back to have a normal 9-5.

For some context - I was laid off by Coinbase in June and since August I have been working on building a business that can sustain me so I never have to go back to working a 9-5. For the time being, I'm frugally burning through my savings as I've been building Clientside.dev and I couldn't be happier.

Secured a Content Partner

Can't talk too much about this one but I've secured a content partner that will be providing me with a lot of the course material I need for the platform.

This partner has hundreds of thousands of students and is allowing me to use that stat on the site as well! Huge win.

The pricing page is 98% complete.

I got the work back from my designer and I've customized it.

I need to complete a few other pages before I can link all of the buttons on this page to their appropriate places.

The actual price of my offer and some images also still need to be worked out but I'd be happy with providing the service at the current price point I have there.

Will Revisit this in the near future.

Course Curriculum Development

Now, I need to actually get this course content on the site and the curriculum worked out so that my users actually get what I'm promising on the pricing page.

This is a lot of manual uploading work and editing of videos to remove the Content Partner's logos from the intros.

I have about 25 hours of video I need to edit. I will automate a huge majority of this editing with my programming sk1llz.

Social Media

I've been getting a lot some hits on my social media but I'm really spending 90% of my time in getting v0 of the product ready as it's almost at a point I can begin charging for it.

I've uploaded 2 YouTube shorts, 3 Instagram Reels, 2 Facebook Reels, 5 Pinterest Pins, 1 Blog post, and 10 tweets in the last 2 days.

Does anyone know of a tool that allows you to track all of the engagements across your social media profiles?

For example, I love that Twitter has a dashboard view where I can see my engagement stats.

I will revisit the social media strategy this weekend after I've launched v0 of the website and can actually begin selling my offer.

New Landing Page

The current home page is outdated as I have pivoted from being an "Interview platform" to a "Land a job platform".

I've written up a much better copy and design for the landing page and sent it to my web designer so that he can begin implementing it.

Rather than trying to make it look "cool" like the current version with animations and such, I am focusing intently on selling.
