Mytoori & using AI for content curation

Hey

I’m Giwan, founder of Mytoori. For years now, I’ve worked on a bilingual reading platform, first as a side project and now full-time. The core idea is simple: let language learners read stories in their target language and toggle translations with one tap. No frustration, just immersion.

The Problem The biggest challenge was always content. High-quality bilingual stories were hard to produce and scale. Authors could only cover a few languages, and maintaining quality was tough.

The Breakthrough AI changed the game. Instead of generating low-quality content, I use it to curate classics, fables and public-domain stories adapted for learners. The library now scales without sacrificing quality.

What’s New

  • Audio features: Listen to stories while you read.

  • More interesting content: Read fun stories rather generic sentences

  • More coming soon: Six languages currently supported

Why Now?

  • Demand: Learners keep asking for more stories and languages.

  • Opportunity: A few have tried to do this before but content was hard

  • Personal: My own language skills are fading, so I need this tool as much as my users do.

Try It Out Check out the Mytoori library. I’d love your feedback, especially if you’ve built in edtech or language learning.

What’s one feature you wish existed for language learners?
