Sup Indiehackers,
I've been working on a project that I'm really excited to share and would love to get your opinions.
The project is called Freemate.ai, an Upwork assistant powered by the latest OpenAI's GPT-3.5/4 model. The aim of the software is to make life easier for freelancers on Upwork by helping them generate proposals, respond to job invitations, request reviews, and improve their content.
Here's the kicker: it's all done automatically using the power of AI. The AI analyzes your needs, understands the context, and generates responses based on it, which saves freelancers a lot of time and helps them focus on their actual work.
Now, the software has already been built and is in a stable state. Interestingly, while I was developing the product, I forgot to "hide" the app and some followers on Twitter discovered it and signed up. This unexpected, pre-release interest got me wondering about the real potential of this idea.
Given the increasing demand for automated solutions and AI in every field, do you think such a software would gain traction in the market? I'm not 100% sure this will do well just because a bunch of similar software is coming out.
Does an AI-powered freelance assistant sound appealing to you?
If you were a freelancer, would you consider using such a tool to help manage your work on platforms like Upwork?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions!
