New positioning, who dis?

After launching an MVP of my SaaS GummySearch, I've slowly come to the realization that the vision behind it wasn't as clear to others as it was to myself. On top of that, the landing page visitors that did sign up would compare the product to others, and I would lose in that comparison.

I actually didn't think of those other products as competitors, and initially wrote off those users. Now, I've come to realize that if you don't position your product well yourself, you're subject to people making up their own minds.

I had a big "Aha" moment, and repositioned my product to showcase the strengths and make it such that the weaknesses weren't that important anymore.

Anyways, here's the new landing page. I've always appreciated feedback from this group in the past, would love to hear what you think!

Here's a breakdown of my thoughts for the repositioning, as well as the inspiration behind each section of the new LP

I was fully ready to try to understand what you're looking to get across and come up with constructive feedback. We'll come back to that in a second.

First, this is so well done. It answered my question about "why" very quickly, introduced me to the term "embedded entrepreneur" which is cool and really works in this context. I think you might have a bonus of me actually being your target customer, but I'm excited to dig in and you're getting a sign up from me.

To nit pick a little bit, I think the content may be a little on the denser side, not that it's an issue just an observation. More importantly, I would like to see pricing somewhere anytime I see free trial, even if no CC is required to start the trial.

That aside, I'm really impressed and looking forward to exploring the product!

Hey thanks for the feedback James, you're so right about both of those. And I'm really happy to have you on the beta!

I'm going to cut down the text copy today. I was pretty caffeinated when I wrote the copy yesterday and it definitely needs a trim ;) For the pricing, I'm thinking of some changes to my model and wanted to solidify it before publishing, but will get it up on the page soon.

p.s. I didn't invent "Embedded Entrepreneur", that's the title of Arvid's book. It's a fantastic read and really resonates with my mission as well so I put that up
