New Project - Iteration 0

Today marks the start of my latest project. At the moment it doesn't have a name, just a rough idea, which is

to create company profile pages using data that is publicly or freely available via various API's, with relatively small manual input.

I intend to document the journey as I go along and #buildintheopen, post updates on here, twitter and LinkedIn as and when new iterations are being worked on or released, list the sources that I've used to make the application and provide statistics that are available publicly.

Committing to release schedules for side projects is hard for me, life just has a knack of getting in the way, so releases every 2 weeks or #100daysofcode won't work for me. I'm going to release this project in iterations as and when one is completed and an iteration is just going to be anything that moves the project forward. I'm going for the 1% improvement rule so hopefully, each iteration is relatively small, completed quickly and the application is constantly evolving.

In this spirit, I'm going to define this as iteration 0, the project has been announced so anything beyond this is an improvement.
