Next Steps To Grow Business

I started a retail point of sale system as a business in 2010 (Was a free product for years before that). I have grown it every year 10-20%; but it is starting to slow a little bit and to be honest, I am getting pretty burned out on coding/development.

I have never focused on any sort of marketing or business development. I just had good traction from it being a free product for years before I started selling it.

I want to take the business to the next level. I know I have a good product but have no idea how to market it.

I have tried salesprocess.io, business coach, and local facebook ad company with zero results.

I understand the point of sale market is competitive but I am looking to grow revenue and don't know where to start.

Should I invest in SEO and a new web site? Should I try google ads? Should I improve the product more?

I am a developer by trade but have no marketing background. Any suggestions would be great!
