Nnums week 12 -- open to a first customer

Nnums is for getting numbers from event streams like logs.

It's also a place to stream data to if you want to retain it as durably and as cheaply as possible. Very low latency makes it cheap to send data as it's created, in tiny pieces. Cheap storage makes it economical to keep lots of data.

Anyway, I've been testing it live now on my own for a couple of months and am ready for the first customer or two. Interestingly, I talked with a respected colleague looking for advice and he suggested that we set up a meeting around using the service to solve a couple of problems the company he's working at has. Just talking with him has made me think more concretely about the product and what it will need to be, which is nice.
