No-Code Approach for an Education-Based Marketplace?
I'm looking to quickly pull together a marketplace of sorts, where sellers can create tutorials, provide details about them (e.g., level of experience required, main tools involved, prerequisites, etc), and have them displayed on a one-page marketplace with filters and whatnot. When an end-user selects on a tutorial, they'd be taken to an overview page about it, and if they're interested, they'd have to pay a one-time fee for the tutorial. Upon doing so, they'd be taken to the selected tutorial page that provides Youtube videos, written content, code snippets, and/or quizzes.
Is something like this feasible to do with a no-code approach? I'm very unfamiliar with no-code products, apologies in advance if there are obvious solutions out there.
Oh yeah you could definitely do this. I'm guessing you want a cut of what they make? Theres a couple ways. How many authors do you want. If its 5 you could do the $100/month plan from thinkific or teachable otherwise you'd be paying $500/month for many instructors. Or you could do it on bubble, but bubbles super slow. Zeroqode has a bubble template for this that would take you 90% of the way there. You might be able to do it on adalo but im not sure about splitting what they make. If you just charged them a monthly fee to list their tutorials you could probably do it on Adalo. Let me know any questions.
This is very reassuring! And yes, in a way I'd like to have a cut of what people make. But I'd also be the initial host of it and see if others would like to sign up and become "teachers" in a way. I'll definitely check out those platforms and see if they'll at least provide me with 90% of the features I'd like to have for my MVP. Thank you so much!

Its definitely possible but the question is what features do you need. Some things are still limited such as nested CMS collections but with current tools you can create an MVP for sure.

I think I was experiencing option paralysis yesterday because of all the different ways you can go about no-code, and I was worried about choosing the wrong path only to find out after hours of work that I should have gone with a different option. I'll continue doing more research but I've narrowed down the list of possibilities to a much smaller and more manageable list of options.
I think its a very common thing but overall the motto is the same as for code: right tools for the right product. You can't go wrong with anything. I literally didn't even consider Bubble even though it's more powerful because I just didn't like anything about it and decided to do workarounds by just glueing things together with Zapier and Webflow just felt so powerful. Just go for it, try and fail and answers will come.

I don't think there is a tutorial for something EXACTLY as you've outlined, but I bet running through a couple of them would get you to where you need to be.
Wasn’t MakerPad also made with no-code tools? Because after looking at it, this is exactly the format I’m looking for, except with the ability for others to sign on as teachers and upload their own tutorials.

Adalo might work, powerful tool, can't do much customization, and not terribly expensive.
Bubble is powerful, lots of flexibility, not too expensive.
