No Code backends, created in your browser: Looking for feedback!
Hey all - Ben here from Mvp DB!
I've just launched Mvp DB for public Beta. Mvp DB is a backend tool with bootstrappers in mind: to save you time and money on your project’s backend.
Mvp DB is a backend you can create from your browser. Without leaving your browser, you can configure tables, enter data (like a spreadsheet), and create authenticated APIs. It can handle arbitrary queries, data validations, and trigger actions after successful api requests. User registration and authentication is integrated out of the box.
Its really easy to start, just sign up, and start entering data. Head over to our docs to see how to make requests for data.
I'd be so appreciated if any of you no-coders out there would give it a try! If you sign up now, you will have full access to all features for no initial cost.
Help! Currently using Webflow and memberstack. Curious if this could help make this more robust. As a non-technical person, can I easily integrate this?

Neat idea! Databases and APIs are one area that feel neglected to me when it comes to rapid prototyping. I don't have a need for this myself, but I look forward to seeing where you go with this.
Curious if you could think ahead to a future particular use case? It would great to consider for future roadmap. :)
Not sure if you were asking about my roadmap or yours so I'll give you both :P
Yours - It'd be cool if there were dashboard-like features in the admin UI - e.g. the ability to define charts and graphs and stuff based on the data. Lots of admins will want to see how data is trending over time or slice and dice things in other ways. Bonus points if you can embed those charts on other sites.
Mine - Can't say there's a good spot for me to slot this into any of my product roadmaps. I tend to reach for MongoDB Atlas or Amazon Aurora when I need a database, and those have worked rather well for me. But I may not be your target market: I'm super happy to jump into the tech weeds when necessary, and I think you're going after somebody who finds that painful, or would prefer to forget about most of the DB setup stuff in the first place.

Going to be honest, your front page sure is "code heavy" for a no-code tool. I'm a developer so I get it, but someone who doesn't know how to code might get turned off by the curl command with the console.
Same thing with your headline "Full featured APIs". My girlfriend is working on a no code SaaS and doesn't fully understand what an API is. If you are targeting the no-code community, I'd really shake up some of this language.
As a developer, could you see something like this useful during any stage of your workflow? Prototyping? Mvp? Launch?

Thanks! Yes, I agree and I’m still trying to find the right way to describe the target audience for Mvp DB. On one hand, it can be used as a no code tool in a basic way - just by entering data in a table and creating a basic API. But it can also get a bit more advance when using some of the more advanced features, like authentication and filters. Perhaps I should experiment with a few different landing pages to test.
