No-code/Low-code tools to build MVP with data/logic?

Hello everyone,

I recently pivoted from an earlier product I was working on to a set of older ideas on no/low code. The low code platform is open source and self-hosted. It is meant for semi-tech people.

What I mean by an MVP with data/logic would be say a minimal Marketplace product:

  • Registration for supply and demand sides
  • Setup inventory on supply side
  • Demand side finds things and buys/inquires

So this is not a landing page with signup form. There is actual user generated data that is powering the MVP.

So what I want to know is: Has anyone used existing No/Low code tools to build data/logic driven products? Would you kindly share your experience?

If you are interested, here is the low code platform - https://github.com/pixlie/dwata and its Trello board - https://trello.com/b/tFuLnt7R

An agency built this for the Czech government using Pipedrive and Integromat: https://covpoint.org/en/

The example you gave (Registration for supply and demand sides, inventory setup, demand finds things and buys/inquires) is exactly what Covpoint does.

Is this in line with what you imagined?

Did not build them myself but know of projects on Inventory management, real-time dashboards, resource planning and likes built on DronaHQ (https://dronahq.com) You can give it a go

There are a lot of no-code tools to create a marketplace. Easiest one would be Sharetribe as almost everything is pre-built, but if you want to do it on your own you could do it with Bubble, Boundless, Adalo... and even with Webflow

Hey thanks for sharing. Yes Sharetribe surely has that feel of scripts from old days, but as a business it sure is doing well. It is not a no-code platform as much as Shopify is not.

I did not know of Boundless, will check them out.
      Thanks and stay safe!

sharetribe seems to not be up to date in terms of visual style.

i haven't built this myself, but, i'm familiar enough to know that some folks have built complex marketplaces with nocode... so, i can't imagine that you won't be able to get to something similar.

is this where you're starting or do you already have customers?

Thanks for sharing. Would you be kind enough to share links to the marketplaces?

I am aiming for Marketplace products in the beginning so I am looking for early stage founders who are building their MVP.

this isn't my business, but, i was referring to examples of nocode marketplaces that bubble.io and others have shown on their sites.

OK I see. I have to go through the customers of Bubble, Boundless, Adalo and others. Thanks for your inputs, much appreciated.
