Nobody built this product so we did
We built Lengpal, a language exchange tool similar to Zoom but for language practice. It has a built-in timer to structure your exchange. We are currently adding chat, which will have the option to save words and translate. We are currently trying to get users to test the platform and give us their feedback.
The useful part here is not “Zoom for language practice.” That comparison explains the format, but it may make Lengpal sound like a video-call wrapper. The stronger angle is structured language exchange: helping two learners practice without the awkwardness of “what do we talk about now?”
The timer, chat, saved words, and translation can become a guided practice loop, not just a call room. That feels more valuable because language learners need structure, recall, and confidence, not another meeting tool.
One thing I’d watch is the Lengpal name. “Pal” explains the social side, but “Leng” may create spelling and trust friction. If this becomes a softer global language-learning brand, Lyriso.com would feel cleaner and more memorable.
