OnFoot — Navigation + Safety App for Pedestrians (seeking co-builder/advisor)

Hey everyone,

I built OnFoot, and about 2 months ago, it was approved for production on the Play Store. — a navigation app focused on safety for pedestrians (travelers, expats, people in big cities). Think Waze, but only for people on foot.

What we have:

Fully functional app in Flutter (fast, dynamic UX)
SOS button + community-driven safety reporting system
No mandatory login (low friction)
~10 real users on Play Store

The problem: I built this solo, work warehouse shifts, zero marketing network, zero budget. I have a solid product, but I'm completely lost on growth.

What I need:

Co-builder or advisor who believes in this
Someone who knows growth/marketing/community building
Or real people who want to test and give honest feedback

OnFoot matters — pedestrians need safety. There's nothing like this on the market focused only on walkers.

    10 real users after two months makes the current stage pretty clear. Curious what those first users actually use OnFoot for most.

      Great question.
      Most use OnFoot for:

      • Walking in unfamiliar cities at night (tourists/travelers) — 6 users
      • Commuting safely in big cities (Amsterdam, daily walkers) — 2 users
      • Testing SOS/reporting features (friends helping me validate) — 2 users

      What's interesting: the night walkers use it consistently. The daily commuters tested once and didn't return — Google Maps + familiarity works for them.
      This tells me the real use case is travelers/expats in unfamiliar places, not daily commuters.
      That's why I'm focusing Lotiam's vision there: safety-first for people outside their comfort zone.

        That’s a much more interesting signal than the raw user count.

        I wouldn’t call the ICP validated from 10 users yet, but the difference in repeat behavior is meaningful: the travelers are consistently finding a reason to come back, while the daily commuters aren’t.

        That’s definitely a pattern worth watching before locking in the positioning.

          Spot on. I was a bit discouraged by the daily commuters not coming back, but you're completely right — the real signal is the repeat behavior from the travelers.
          It makes perfect sense: locals already know their way around and the "fear factor" drops quickly, whereas travelers are constantly in unfamiliar territory. It's a small sample size, but it's a pattern I can't ignore.
          I'm going to hold off on locking in the broader positioning and double down on talking to more travelers to see if this repeat behavior holds up as I bring more of them in.
