I have recently launched my online python Project BootCamp and god it is hard to drive sales. Especially being in India, and the whole dev community is used to free stuff.
Any tips for me to drive better sales?

Would really appreciate it if you can share this tweet as well
Thank you @brianhsugreen and @8bit for your inputs. Here is what happened a couple of days after launch
I created a launch offer selling the course at 30$ instead of 50$ that really kicked in all the sales. I sold all of the 10 slots in the next 2 days. I kept 4 slots open after the 10 at 50$ price point, and all of them sold out in the next week
Few things that helped
Overall good run for the first cohort. 15 people have boarded the ship. All gearing up for a safe landing
whoa, congrats! what a great start!
Hi Bhavani,
Congrats on launching!
Tough question. Marketing and sales strategies all look a bit different once in the market.
Slow sales might indicate a product<>market mismatch. It looks like you have a good base of followers on Twitter, are you also marketing to an email list? And are these individuals looking to have this specific problem solved? You might try interviewing a few of your subscribers to better understand their problems and wants. You’ll probably also learn about what they’re willing to pay for.
You might try giving away one of the lessons to drive more lead signups.
To drive more conversions, customer testimonials might help. You might run 1-2 free cohorts in order to build the number of users, and to generate some testimonials.
On that note, maybe try inviting a few notable names in Python to review your material to get endorsements. Those can add credibility to the course.
The only noticeable change I would make to the sales page is to be more specific about the schedule. “4 weekends (8 hours) of live zoom sessions” doesn’t tell me when I’ll need to be available, or how much work I’ll need to do on my own.
Just a few thoughts. Good luck with optimizing your funnel!
maybe try another source for traction?
