Only sending "newsletters"?
To do email marketing effectively, you can't just rely on sending "newsletters".
You need automated emails too ⚡
Automated emails = email that's sent immediately to subscribers right after they opt-in, to deliver the lead magnet you promised.
Plus more automated emails over the coming days/weeks to entertain + educate.
A LOT of creators don't do this, which is a BIG missed opportunity 🤦

Manual emails = "newsletter" or one-off broadcast emails that are sent when a new piece of content / offer / update is released.
Every creator does this.

After talking to hundreds of creators, there are 2 reasons why most don't have automated emails.
1/ They're unaware automated emails exist.
2/ They're aware but think it's too hard to set up; they rather spend time creating new content.
To this, I say: creating new content all the time is even more work. Setting up is a 1-time thing & it'll pay you dividends for years 😋
You've already convinced people to give you their email address.
Why not maximize your efforts by leveraging automated evergreen emails to do the heavy lifting for you? 💪
You can still keep sending newsletter emails on top of this.

At the beginning of this year, I created an indoctrination email series for everyone who subscribed to my newsletter or signed up through a lead magnet.
I send out series of automated emails to deliver them their lead magnet, introduce myself, and even offer an exclusive discount on my services. I have actually had great success with that.
