Awesome!! How have you been finding affiliates? Personal connections, cold email. or?

Also, what % of revenue comes from affiliates?
    Thanks!

      Hey Simon,

So at the beginning we were promoting our site and going to linked in to marketing people directly but we have a mix, I’d say our most successful affiliate was a guy who bought the course and starters giving it to his friends and I think now he’s investing in ads, we have made it clear on our policy that we won’t be investing in direct sales or advertising, the goal was this was always to get people to sell it for us at a huge chuck to them, we are thinking of ways how can we increase our affiliate payout but we will have to add more content with the revenue we made and once the sales go higher we will increase it. We have 2 ways of becoming and affiliate either contact me @ lusu777@gmail.com or buy the course, we have a mix of both

Hey @andreimc Nice of you to keep up the affiliate program and continue paying your affiliates.

Out of curiosity, is it always 70%?

@Nakkeeran yes so each course sell nets $349.30 AUD - it's actually more than 70% we net $489.97 so we only keep 28.2%, we are thinking of increasing our affiliate payout to 75% once we have more content and affiliates. We just want to give people an opportunity to make money. Our courses are priced at $499 AUD and we will price all of them this way because we want people to actually do them and engage with us and learn the content. They are aimed at developers or hobbyists who know javascript allready.

Thanks for the reply and the interesting. Nice to see you will be increasing the affiliate percentage as well. And good point about the pricing and the end-value you provide people.

Yeah no worries, our goal over the next few moths is to add more content and try getting some influencer affiliates, but to be honest from what we’re seeing in our revenue even well executed Instagram ads work well, and I think we sold about 70+ courses and only person has asked a refund which is a bit tricky with the affiliate model but we’ve contacted our affiliate and be understood and we said we’d take it back from his next sale, which he made plenty off
