My product is quite niche so I’m keen to see if the value prop comes across clearly and if I’m doing a good job of explaining things.
The Kano model is a technique for doing user research into customer satisfaction, invented in the 80s. It is based on running a particular format of survey and then doing some bespoke analysis. I made a tool to make it simple to do.
Thank you!
Hi Will your service is very valuable! Also the descriptions are very good. I like the value you already provide with your landing page!
The following things occurred to me:
If you price that cheap, something's wrong with your service, at least that's what people will start to think. Why only 10$? Be confident here, I'd say. If you don't feel comfortable, A/B test your pricing.
And finally, this is a somewhat personal preference: Maybe you can invest a little bit in a better optical design. The page looks not bad, don't get me wrong. But it could look much better, which might help to provide a more professional image.
All in all, great service. Good luck with it.
Thank you very much for the feedback. Good tips on the copy, I’ll get that updated.
I agree on the pricing. I started off with £0.99p just to see if anyone would pay, and recently increased to £9. I’m still getting conversions so I plan on increasing further at some point and perhaps offering annual payments.
Also yes agreed on the visual design. I am not a designer by trade so I definitely need some help with that :)
Hi Will,
The site looks good, and nice work securing a strong domain name for the product as well.
A couple small tweaks:
There’s a lot of content on the page that educates visitors on the Kano model. While this is helpful content it might be better suited under a separate “About the Kano model” so your homepage can focus on your value (understanding where to focus product efforts), your differentiator (quick to use, not having to run the analysis yourself), and how to get started.
Hope this helps, keep building!
Thanks for the feedback, some really clear pointers. Good call about slimming it down a bit so it’s more about the tool rather than also educating, I like that approach
