Please Help Name My New Project
I started a new project (my first SaaS) to create personalized and unique content on a large scale based on data. Some sample use cases:
- 50,000 personalized articles for each runner of a marathon
- Recaps for sporting events
- Stock summary reports
I need a name. My preference is a .com for it. (There's a great discussion going on about to .com or not to .com at What's the IH opinion on domains?).
This Saas will focus on written text and eventually will add the ability to create audio and video as well. The good news, it's based on a tool I've iterated on a couple of times for my own use, so I know of at least one use case.
Right now, I'm reaching out to potential users for feedback on the product and trying to get at least one pre-launch customer. I think there a lot of companies would expand the amount of content they create, but don't have the means to do so. Particularly mid-sized companies who are big enough to have a lot of data, but small enough to not really be able to afford significant content creation. That's the hypothesis at least.

The first part assumes the texts created are mostly positive (like a melody or useful piece of conversation). Second associates to the number of texts created in one batch.

Also for your domain name extension, it would be good to consider who your target audience is. Would they be thrown off by a domain they are not use to?
Another thing you can try to get a name for your business is to think of a word in another language that can represent what your company does.
For example, when I created an attendance site for university students, I could not find a a suitable domain name. However, I also speak Portuguese Creole. In Portuguese Creole, if you want to say someone is here/present, you say "Es sta li". With this, I was able to find the domain name "Estalee", pronounced the same way. Luckily it was short and simple too.
