Please vet my startup idea: Forms anywhere synced directly to Notion
Hi all,
I am working on a small product called Fotion. What it essentially allows you to do is take feedback from any form on the internet and add it to Notion. While there are other products that do pretty similar things like NotionForms and Tally so , they end up being a form builder with:
- A link you can share anywhere
- embedding the form in your website
At my last VC backed startup, we built a lot of sample landing pages and wanted to take feedback on them. Embedding these forms would have ruined the design language of the landing pages.
How it works?
- Connect your notion workspace and database table.
- You are given a url.
- Data that comes into that url from anywhere gets written to Notion.
No form building. Can be used anywhere. on your site. API directly. anyhow
I was wondering if this is something that makes any sense. I am around 50% done and just started this for fun and was hoping to get some written feedback

"Feedback from any form on the internet"? I assume that these are forms that you control. So the idea is that, when users submit the form, the data gets stored in Notion instead of a database? And that is better because you don't have to build a UI to display the stuff that otherwise would be stored in the database?
Hi, yes you are absolutely correct. This is exactly how I intend it to work.
You also don't have to embed forms like typeform into your website and you can control how the forms look on your website or other places
