Everyone is worried about the pandemic's second wave, both for our personal lives and for our businesses.
For many companies, customer retention was a challenge in the first wave.
I wrote this article to help companies retain as many customers as they can when the second wave hits.
Hope there's some value in it for all IH.
I'd love to know which of these is most valuable to you 👍 and which isn't. 👎
Maximizing Customer Retention in the Pandemic’s Second Wave
Pretty interesting, but I wonder - what are these findings based on?
Hey @orliesaurus
Not sure what you mean the findings are based on?
Can you explain a bit more so I can answer?
Thanks!
Yeah sure, I read your blog post and the advice sounds good, but where does it come from? like.... where do those strategies come from? what's the background story? are they learnings from your own company? have you got any data to back those claims up?
These are just some questions I've had while reading the article...
Hope this helps explain better
I took your advice and beefed up the article by interviewing Founders and getting specific strategies they employed during the pandemic's first wave.
It's just gone live and I value your thoughts because you were honest with me about the first version.
Would you mind giving your thoughts on this second version?

There is ALWAYS room for improvement, good job on adding those quotes from the founders!
I have more ideas, here's one for example: why not add a profile picture from the Linkedin profile of every person, link their profile, then ask the people you've interivewed to share your article on their profile page on LinkedIn.
You can go as far as writing a prompt for them for example, in a LI message u could write:
`Hey <name>
I used your quote in my article - I think it's really interesting to see your perspective and the ones of others like you. I have an ask: do you mind sharing it on your LinkedIn - here's a good caption to go with it.
[[[ I shared my perspective on customer retention during the pandemic, here's an article that features my thoughts - can you believe 60% of companies suffered from churn ? ]]
Or something like that
Great idea!
I interviewed all the Founders I quoted, which is how the data became so much richer and the article became more authoritative.
I send those I interview the full article (that's often how I get them to agree to give up 30 mins of their time). Some post on their blogs, some email them out, some share on social and some share on LinkedIn.
I use the backlinking strategy you just mentioned with people I don't interview but quote.
I like the pre-suggested caption idea. That I'm going to add into my emails. 👍👍
Thanks so much @orliesaurus. You really helped push me to up my game again when I got a little lazy. 🙌
Glad I could help!
Also I was thinking, you could also make an info-graphic (using Canva or something) - it always helps and doesn't take much time to do, people love to share infographics on LinkedIn and twitter (and FB groups)
Ok. Now I'm getting freaked out. I just spent the last 2.5 hours in Canva creating a mini-guide as a download. 😆
Thanks again @orliesaurus. You rock! 😎
haha - if you can drop a follow on my youtube page, Im trying to get to a 100 subs by end of summer! it's over here
For sure! Heading over there now....I'm #52
It was quickly written and I didn't add those details in. I'm glad you mentioned it because others will likely be wondering the same thing (as I would if I was reading it for the first time too).
I'll add details from those strategies with concrete examples to make the article's suggestions more credible.
Appreciate you mentioning it @orliesaurus. 😊👍👍
