Price Calculator
Hi Folks,
First post, but been lurking a while. I figured with my first post, I should contribute something. Whilst considering a few ideas, I wanted to quickly sketch out possible pricing options for a service billed monthly, and then get an idea of how likely the market was to be able to support them, given a target annual revenue I wanted to reach.
I started with a spreadsheet, but ended up implementing the functionality in a web application. It is only basic, but was enough for my needs. I figured it might be useful to someone else, so decided to host it publicly. It contains two calculators:
- both calculate the numbers of sales required to reach a given target annual revenue and break those sales down by age & gender, if a region is selected
- one allows you to compare a series of possible alternative prices
- the other allows you to investigate a tiered price structure, specifying the proportion of customers you expect to buy each tier
As already mentioned, they are basic & little more than MVP, so don't try too hard to find bugs in them, as you will likely be successful. If there are improvements or features you would like to see, get in touch using the details on the home page, and I will give them some thought. If they see any use, I will likely make them a bit prettier at least ;)
